Especially after a long day out, but regardless of that she shouldn't have to wait for another train in order to travel home undisturbed.
Fair play to her. Everyone can accept that football fans can be a rowdy bunch but swearing and personal abuse are unnacceptable.
If it were Oxford fans I would be utterly embarrassed.

Seems a bit selfish to me. There wre probably lots of other totally innocent passengers on there who got home late because she forced them to terminate the train.
A train consists of four or eight carriages. Presumably all the yobs were in one carriage - how about getting up and going into another carriage instead? And if the doors are closed, just wait until you get to the next station walk out the door, walk along the platform and join another carriage.

I just hope no one who really needed to get that train further down the line (to get to work etc.) was affected. She should really think about what her actions have done.

That'll really enhance Cardiff's 'reputation' as being a bit 'nawty'.
Pick on a middle aged woman, her aging husband and their 5 year old child.

It is a clever thing to do. Her family's safety was completely let down by the driver and the guard, who should be ashamed of themselves for not standing up to the idiots themselves and at least calling the police. She did what she had to do and showed them up for being spineless and allowing their stupid behaviour to continue.
If someone was 10 minutes late because of it, I don't really think that matters, perhaps those same people should have called the police themselves?!

When good people do nothing. So what if people are late. (not sure if Im due a whoosh here)
Quite frankly the things people ignore these days, people need to be braver and stand up to it.
