Going back to the original opening post, I've been quite impressed with Ian Duncan Smith and Ken Clarke so far. Cameron is weak, and Osborne appears to be reviling in the cuts and enjoying himself enormously.
I agree with that, William Hague should be PM he is the best statesman we have
Hague was hopeless when he was the Tory leader, his whole election campaign was based around his one policy to save the pound.
As Lord Tebbit said of him recently "naive at best, foolish at worse" Best Statesman we have...LOL.

Always remember, Banking is 10% of this country's GDP, the big banks can easily relocate to singapore, Hong Kong etc. Alot of that bonus is taxable so perhaps the way to look at it is £2-3Bn extra tax revenue, everyone's a winner....

I am sure that I will never be able to afford to buy in Oxford the city of my birth. Witney will be nearest I get to moving back, only if it is an old house and not one of those horrible new ones with postage stamp gardens.

I would make those useless bast**** sew bags as well.
I wonder how many people in the public service industry will be sleeping so well after hearing that their gold plated pensions will no longer be protected? At least the taxpayer will not be footing their pension bills in future

Labour leader Ed Miliband has made Andy Burnham shadow education secretary, while John Healey gets health.
Pundits had been predicting shadow chancellor would go to either Mr Balls or Ms Cooper.
Mr Miliband said the line-up was "drawn from a broad range of talents across our party".
He added: "My team is united in one central mission for the future - to win back the trust of the British people and take Labour back to power.
"Together, this new generation of Labour will work together to reject the pessimism of this coalition government as we set out our vision of what Britain can achieve. Our values are those of the British people, and this shadow cabinet will ensure that the hopes and concerns of working families are at the heart of our offer to the country."

Aren't you always going on about high house prices being a good thing?
I am not. I just think that house prices falling are a bad thing because they are linked to recession, and the risk of a double dip is greater

It was always going to wasn't it. I would be surprised if David Milliband does not express his views from the benches. He was the most talented member of the opposition, and won over his party but not of course the unions. But then again he is only a Blairite puppet. It doesn't matter who gets in as the EU rule anyway
