As it's a new forum...

Apparently there is a team over in Ireland called Oxford United Stars.

Unbelievable...this is TOTALLY NEW INFORMATION to me, anyone know how they got their name.

Knew they existed because I've occasionally seen them pop up on Sky Sports. No idea of their history though.

I've a friend who's an Evertonian and there is another Everton somewhere in the world and they've got a pre-season game against them.

Would be good for next season Oxford United vs Oxford United!

Nothing else there about how they got the name, though that badge looks rather familiar...
