KP has been dropped by the England team for the upcoming Twenty20s and One Day Internationals. I think is the right decision - He has been hopelessly out of form, and just needs to get back to playing country cricket to rediscover his form in time for the Ashes. Hampshire don't appear to want him, but Surrey have agreed to take him on loan until the end of the season which is good. His biggest problem is his form in the longer game, and loads of ODI and T20 matches back to back aren't going to help him back to form, and if we are going to retain the Ashes we need KP firing on all cylinders. It also sends out a clear message that nobody is immune from the axe - which is good for English cricket. Fabio, take note. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/8956731.stm

I've been calling for him to be dropped for a long while now. He has class but his form has deserted him. Hopefully he'll rediscover his form.

The trouble is their aren't many games left in the domestic season to find form there either.
