Wow! Thank you very, very much! Please can you send me a private message on here? If not, I'll give you my details, so you can send me the cheque to send to Helen's home (she doesn't want to give it to everyone of course) Thanks again Dave Cudd (Cuddy)

Just spoke to Tim. He's going to give me a cheque for £300 before the Port Vale game, to give to Tess's mum. What can I say? Think yourself honoured, Tim. You've just done something that not many people have managed - you've made me speechless!
Total now.....................................£1,200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think one good turn deserves another. How about more people using THE PRIORY PUB next to the ground, for a nice 'before the game' tipple?

Applause all round!
PS. They also raised over a grand at Asda Rawtenstall last weekend in one day...fantastic!

They also raised over a grand at Asda Rawtenstall last weekend in one day...fantastic! That's great they raised a grand in one day. What makes this EXTRA SPECIAL is that the little girl lives in Lancashire somewhere. Nobody knows her or her family. You might ask why we should care about someone who lives miles away and in any case we're not going to see her benefit from our generosity. I just wanted to show that people from all walks of life care about other people if they're made aware of any problems. All you lovely people have done is prove something I already knew. First, football fans don't all hate each other. Second, the way Oxford fans have stuck with United through thick and thin, told me you'd all be willing to show your support in this family's appeal and show compassion and friendship between clubs. All power to the Yellow (and blue) Army!

Hi Dave and all you generous Yellos out there. I dont mind telling you i`m a little choked up after reading through these posts and what they mean to my family. Things can get tough at times with everything our angel has to deal with, but with selfless people standing up and being counted, we are lifted and have new goals to look forward to. Thankyou all so much for all your efforts and kindness. I will be buying you a few pints at the crown ground Mr Cudd and hope to make it down to The Priory before the seasons out. SS

Blimey! Just when I thought this couldn't get any better, it goes and gets better! Another extremely generous fan has been on the blower to me and pledged another £300! That takes the figure to £1,500 collected from the best fans in the country!! I'll keep his name a secret just for now; but what a top man! Dave Cudd (Cuddy)
The OM will be coming to the Priory (against Port Vale before the game) to photograph me receiving the two £300 cheques, for Tess's fund. Her parents are now less than £2,000 from their target.

Its hard to gauge how things will go on the next 3 games, weather could be crap, but if all goes well and the sun shines and we are allowed to take away fans on all 3 games,£300 will be the bottom line, that could increase, thats why i stated 25th 0ct,but no problem me do a chq for 2nd and we can always add on the 25th

Is there a deadline for raising the money? I reckon we could get that extra two grand with a big push (and get some corporates involved too, possibly - a lot of companies have money that they have to give to charities as part of their corporate responsibility programme).

I know a collection has been done, but if we can help get that extra money needed, how about another collection at the Port Vale game? Get a few collecters (can Oxvox organise??) and as there will be a big crowd, many who didnt give last time, can do so this time. It can be publicised over the next week, we all want to help with this

John Lennon and boris. It's people like you who put the word 'kind' in Mankind. I also think we should try and get this last £2,100. We need to make everyone aware first though. I want as many people as possible to write on here if they support one big push against Port Vale, to give me an idea of what the response would be . I would also need more fans with buckets, to collect. My son Tommy will design the posters again (good lad).
I'm sure the OM and Radio Oxford would do announcements for us, too, again
Well done lads. Dave (Cuddy)

We will charge on the car park on the next 3 games,£2.00,every penny goes to tess, the amount of people who use the car park and piss off or just sit in there cars takes the piss,so a month of paying £2.00 will not hurt them, blackboards will let them no the cause, they can always turn around if they dont like it !!!.

You should charge five quid and then give people a three pound discount at the bar through use of a token or ticket. that'll reward punters and get people going.
