I'll be honest - because we only had a very short time to get this thing going, I was hoping to get £700, last Saturday. Well, we're over that. It'd just be great to get a round £1,000.

OK, We all want to reach that £1,000 mark so I'll make you a deal. I did my bit with the bucket last week & would thank all that donated, but this Saturday I'm just going to sit & enjoy a few drinks. However, if tomorrows donations take the total past £920, I will make the final total up to £1,000.[/quote] As there have been cheques sent & Paypal payments made that Cuddy may not be aware of, I'll extend my offer until Helen gives him an update on Wednesday. So get those donations in quick, get it past £920 by Wednesday & I'll make it up to £1,000.

I asked Helen if she'd let me know by Wednesday, because the OM wanted to do a follow up. Where were you yesterday? I was looking forward to a pint of scrumpy!

Got to the Priory around 2p.m. Dave. Ten different ciders on offer at the Mason's Arms Beer festival, so I just had to be there ;D With no draught Scrumpy at the Priory yesterday, the Mason's was definately a better choice. Sarge told me you had just left when I arrived.
I'm on a management course Wednesday & Thursday, so please text me with the total, or I'll find it on here Friday morning & hopefully know how much I need to pay to make the £1,000.

Tonight, Helen sent me an email to say she's STILL receiving cheques, etc. She's going to let me know Wednesday morning, what the total is. I'm keeping schtum at the moment. Just to let you all know that I'm expecting a serious welling-up in the eye department; and for a change, it'll be something I can't blame on my two tiny Gassy-Gutted Chihuahuas! No seriously - they're like doctor Who's Tardis - they're tiny to look at, but bigger on the inside!

That is a wonderful gesture, Tim. Would you let me know how much the final figure is please, so that I tell Tess's mum Helen. The Oxford Mail and Manchester papers want to know the final figure from me too. Obviously, I'll give you a good mention. I use the Priory before the games, but the reason I haven't asked you to help us before, is because I thought you'd be too busy, running the pub on match days. Dave Cudd (Cuddy)

The post man's just been and The Accrington Observer sent me a copy of last week's paper. There's a nice write-up and picture of us fans at the Priory against Accrington. I want to show you all the piece. How do I get it put on here? I can photo the paper's story, then what? Sorry, but I'm useless with today's technology!
