Can you quickly define your definition of 'hobby' for me?
Because some people would class 'computer games' as a hobby. Whereas I think it should be 'completing a constructive task or partaking in sport for the benefit of enjoyment'.
I didn't copy and paste that sentance by the way.
My answer varies on your definition ;D

My answer varies on your definition ;D A hobby as in an interest you devote time to. Could be anything from bird watching, to walking, computer games, collecting matchboxes? I just thought I'd try and put a thread up for people to post on, nothing sinister.

If a hobby had to be a "constructive task" then I don't think anyone has a hobby. Mainly because that very much sounds the same as "work". I play poker, play a few games now and then, nothing out of the ordinary. Except for a love of canasta, the over-80s card game

If sitting in the pub as much as possible counts then that would be my hobby. Otherwise fishing I suppose.

Do we have any people on here with hobbies other than following Oxford Utd? yours cricket by any chance Cricket is a big interest to me, although not a hobby. I think Oxford Utd is my real hobby, though I'm not able to go as much as in the past due to other inc work committments.

Do you count England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic as separate countries? Well obviously the Irish Republic is one, but the rest is the UK 37 for me.

I've done at least 51 if you include all the poxy ones like Vatican and San Marino, 52 if you count E Germany, but then I have to say I went to Yugoslavia rather than Serbia, Bosnia and Macedonia.
As to hobbies, I like to visit bedsits above fish and chip shops. You usually find interesting people in these places.
