Who else is p*ssed off with the endless "coming up next on..." that occurs on just about every tv programme these days.
Plus the 'catch up' they do after every ad break.
X-factor (guilty pleasure) is really bad but even MOTD is at it now!
Wrecks my head. Sky+ has always made it easier to skip ad breaks but now you find yourself skipping through most of the programme as well waiting for some new bit to come on.
If you add it all up theres hardly any unique footage shown!
Grrrr

That's happening over here on the continent too. Dutch, Belgian and German tv stations all do it. Pain in the @rse. Also the ads: ad for product 1; ad for product 2; 10 seconds for product 1 again followed by 10 seconds for product 2. Just what are they hoping to achieve? I know it makes me change channels pronto.

I can't stand it. It's worst on the car chase/cop programmes where they show you everything from the next part in the previous part. You're kind of watching 10 minutes in advance.

Yep and the American ones are even worse, they show you the entire second part in the 30 seconds before the first ad break. Love watching those shows but it completely puts me off.

X-crement factor is even worse - They show highlights in the 'coming up' stage, and then they don't even bleedin' well show it! Instad it's shown in a future programme. Sky + is a great idea. What you do is wait for your favourite progammes to start, press Pause, go and make a coffee, take a dump, phone your mum (not at the same time I must add), then go down and watch it then you can fast forward through the adverts and "Coming up next" sections.

Yeah! We never watch 'live' tv now (bar sport) and will always watch a 30min programme or summat so the programme we plan to watch that night can get ahead of itself. But all this 'coming up' stuff means u end up fast forwarding through most of the show as well. Thank god for Sky+ though!

Thank god for Sky+ though! Watching half hour tv programs now only last about 22 minutes. No adverts, recording from the pub, fast forwarding interviews and pausing live sport when the phone rings.
