Now any new collaborations that benefit Oxford United in my opinion is fantastic. But I read the article and think to myself why has a Global brand and we are talking a big global brand here, get out of little ole OUFC Now without putting us down we are nit shit when it comes to tie up's to big up their brand. I find this one bizarre Anyway long may tie up's that benefit OUFC continue, and one for the conspiracy theorists to mull over. Looks like to me there's a little flame igniting in Kidington. Cometh the four sided Virgin-Atlantic stadium. ;D

My thoughts exactly Sith. Virgin must be looking at a bigger picture. With Oxford being a top tourist destination they perhaps see it as the ideal place to show the world the Virgin name. Stadium tours of a re-vamped and enlarged Virgin Atlantic Stadium. Don't wake me up. I'm loving this dream.

The "V-Atlantic Stadium" has a certain ring to it. A 4th side with a mini model of a Virgin Atlantic Jet on the top would work.
Oxford is a world class city for goodness sake!.....we should be talking to very large companies about profiling both OUFC and the company involved.
We have some of the most beautiful buildings in the world, a heritage worth talking about, an expendable income in most areas (could explain the fan base?) and are on the way up on the footie side of things.
It has always perplexed me why Reading (Reading FFS!) had backing but Oxford United always struggled.
Perhaps this is just the start of things!?...

I wonder what the details of the partnership are.
What will Virgin get? Advertisment hoardings around the ground?, Advert in Program?
What we get? Cash? free flight prize every so often to give out?

The Virgin balloon was over the ground just before kick off. You'd have thought they'd have at least brought a ticket to watch the game
