I noticed signs up at the Ozone for a Fish 'n' Chip shop there?
Is it open and is it any good? I need to grab something to eat before the game, otherwise I'll be stuffing my face at the Oriental.

If there is more than 5 people in there they struggle to serve everyone within 20 minutes! Grab something from the Barbie at the Priory.

There is no BBQ at the Priory, just a crap catering van.

From experience you would do better to grab some chips from the vans outside the ground.

I remember always getting great fish and chips just up from The Manor, can't remember the name was popular though. Those were the days *sigh*

Was it not a branch of 'Smarts'? Used to be a branch in Abingdon too, though I don't know if its still there as I've not been to that waste town since I left school.

Yep, it was a "Smart's" and yes, the one in Abingdon is still trading under that name. Luckily, I left Abingdon having only lived there for 10 months last year.

That building has since been demolished and a new one built in it's place couldn't beat chips on a cold night after the game!

Just because the aforementioned fish bar is in the geographical area of Littlemore doesn't mean it has to be called the " Littlemore Fish Bar". It could be called " Dave's Plaice" or " The Codfather". Therefore, just because you know the location doesn't mean you should know the name. Now that IS being a smart arse!
