not too bad. Torquay 1-1 gillingham Crewe lost Bury drew last night Rotherham (if you're looking that far up) lost Shrewsbury and Chesterfield drew.
In fact the only side above us this morning to win were Wycombe.

Those results are only good if we won. We didn't so we actually lost ground against most of them.

Everytime our fans think we are on the way up, a reality check occurs. Today was just that.

on the basis of today I would say you are an average, rather lighweight league 2 side with slightly above average strikers. Also a numbver of players went missing today especially Batt who had an absolute mare and got so much grief from your manager.
Reality check indeed

You'll excuse me if i ignore your assesment of our team, given that you clearly have a right chip on your shoulder about Oxford, certainly judging by the endless drivel you have posted on this forum.

That's rich coming from your supporters! You'd have thought you were the next big thing given the predictions of the score from your fans and the way they were going mental 45 minutes before kick off like they were watching Man Utd returning with the European cup. Fair play to the two or three supporters on here who predicted a close game and for the rest of your fantasists...lol

Should we just sit and be quiet? Or should we show the players and management how much we appreciate them?
Let's talk about your fans shall we?
Nice drumming by the mascot by the way.
Oh and your stewards and ob are w*nkers

You've called it our "cup final", you've said your gonna thrash us 3-0 and upwards. You've turned up at 2.15 in a complete frenzy of expectancy...
And your team has got outbattled and defeated...
You deserve all this banter and more but at the end of the day, I'll say fair play, good club, good support, great win for us today. Lets see where we both are at the end of the season

We take large away followings unlike you, get behind our team unlike you, and sing our hearts out from the moment we turn up unlike you. You may have won on the pitch but there was no question who won off the pitch. What a fantastic fan base we have, proud to be an Oxford fan.

Lets see where we both are at the end of the season Yeh in the second half we got out battled, but the truth is if we were at all ruthless in front of goal today we would of beat you easy. Your team depends on it's ability to physically bully the opposition, we have copped with this in the past but today we lost the battle in midfield. Your first goal was an absolute shocker from our point of view, win the first header or put a man on the post and you don't score. I agree with what you say we have above average strikers for our league, however I think you need to realise you have signed Shaun Harrad not Adam Le Fomdre. Good luck for the rest of the season, I think we will finish above you but only my opinion. Last thing your support was awful today one of the bigger crowds in the league but absolutely awful vocal support.

Other results worked out our way, we only fell by one place and we're still just 2 points off the playoffs. Would have rathered a draw between Cheltenham and Port Vale, but as Vale are more like to be challenging for promotion than Cheltenham (that is if they can steady the ship, now would be a really good time to play them) it's maybe not too bad.
Still plenty of reason for positivity about our current position.

After a mixed first half performance where he attacked well but got caught in possession a couple of times his second half showing was shocking and N'pton targeted that flank. All the danger came down there. He never got forward in the second period, was at fault for the goal for allowing the cross to come in and I lost count of the number of times he launched the ball forward where it invariably shanked out of play. No wonder Wilder was p!ssed with him.

If you call your lot 'supporters', then today they were an absolute disgrace.

Was my first trip to the inside of your ground and it has to be the most soulless place on earth. Good luck for the rest of the season.
