If you are not aware, there has been a discussion here about an issue with this forum: yellows.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=thoughtsonforum&action=display&thread=4875&page=1The transition should be easy, simply register at the new forum: yellowsforum.proboards.com/ - its the same design etc as this one! If you find that someone has used your user name, let me know by Private Message on here so i can delete the false account. I will let you know when we will move, but i thought it would be good to get as many people registered on it as possible. So be ready to login by registering now. The new forum is in maintenance mode so no one can post yet. Sorry for any inconvenience and i know it means another forum registration needed but this is the last resort to secure the future of this forum. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to PM me. ESB

Sorted.
FYI I access the forum 99% via the iPhone app which has successfully let me add the new link to the home page.
Of course, at present it restricts my access.
Keep up the good work ESB

I think Monday is to soon and a little rushed. It should have been at least another week, and many people dont come off here to often, and more time should have been given

I think Monday is fine, it's not as if people who are not yet in the know will run into a brick wall. The old site will still be readable and linked through to the new one.
We have some members who only come online once a month, should we wait for them? And run the risk of losing the site completely, or step over now and direct the late-comers to the right place. Life is not always about waiting, sometimes you have to act and act fast. That is what esb has done and we (the mods and most people who have already signed up) support him 100% in this.

We cant wait for every user, I have mass PM'd people which i will do again Sunday and some announcements have been made. I have PM'd some members personally and i have had positive responses and was told they will register later.
Like Malc said, if we were to lose the site tomorrow we would be in turmoil, i wouldn't be able to contact anyone to let them know about a new forum.
In the long run 10 mins of signing up to a new forum is nothing for what could happen if we didnt do this.

What do you mean?
If we can't post a reply we can't quote surely?
Unless we literally just re-write what was previously written.
