Expected to happen early next week.... Thoughts? Source junior ? I know you like Young but he has never convinced me, however I've always felt he needed a bigger stage than Villa so this could be the move that makes him. How much ? 15m ?

Neighbour is villa season ticket holder. He really does not rate him. Said he'd sell him for anything over £8million. He aint good enough for a top 4 prem side

Gary Glitter has put his name forward to be the next manager of Aston Villa
He heard that the forwards were Young and Bent

Strange one. If I could choose 2 from Nani, Valencia and Young to take to battle, Young wouldn't be one of 'em.

Good signing, from watching him he just needs consistency. But on his day he is world class. Still a young lad, am sure Man Utd can develop him further.

I'm with you BM. A good player in my eyes who will only get better under the mu coaching.. Remember valencia was an average prem player when he left Wigan, he turned out ok.. Young will also be cheap as his contract expires soon....
Liverpool are also after him and will also get that sarauz like dougie mentioned a week or so ago...

United need a player who can change the game for them, they seem to be lacking something in the final 3rd of the pitch maybe Young will give them that spark. Also I think it would be good for English football if he develops at United.

if i had to pick from Villa wingers then I'd rather sign Albrighton or Agbonlahor. Still, think young is a good player and honestly think he could turn out on a par with nani.

Good point Junior, although not sure will be a good signing for Man Utd, and think villa will try to keep hold of him at all costs. Valencia was also an average premier league winger but when he went to Utd he excelled under the coaching there, and was playing some brilliant stuff until he got injured.

Player who has lost his way. Definitely needs a move, but would he be more than a bench warmer at Man Utd?

Never really been that impressed with him, but he clearly has potential - maybe a big move to a better side could bring the best out of him?

You're having a Giraffe pal, I can guarantee you right now he will never get even close to that description. Just another hyped up, overrated English player who promises much, delivers little and as long as his bank account is 7 figures in the black will be content in his mediocrety. He is the epitome of young English players....Pace, touch, zero technical ability and a poor attitude.

Tell us all why he has a poor attitude seeing as you know all about him.

I agree up to this point, it's unfair to speculate on his attitude or mentality though.

World class obviously not
Hyped up and overrated? HK yellows comment aside, it seems like most people don't really rate him so I'm not sure how you work that one out...
