why do some half wits need to leave an 8ft space between them and the next car? absolutley ridiculous the very first car was 6ft from the no parking line ,what a tw*t,i think i'll start keying any cars that have wide (wide but not wide enough to get another car in) gaps...ie anything over 4ft is fair game i think.

Why are you surprised? There are too many people in this country who don't give a shit about other people so the fact that they are taking up 3/4 of a space that could be used by someone else probably does not even enter their head.
You should get the council to introduce a By Law making it illegal to park more than 2ft from the car in front on Grenoble Road. They will get very excited by this idea as it will give them a chance to rip more football fans off and give the wardens a bit more overtime on Saturday afternoons.
No wonder my girlfriend calls me Victor (aka Meldrew) these days because I simply can't believe it! Thank god I can use a private parking space very close to the ground but where there is hardly any traffic!!!!

What really irritates me is the `Ozone Security Commando` that blocks off the Hotel Car park ensuring it remains empty all afternoon....

Always found it insane that the Science Park never opens and charges a quid a car. They'd make a few bob.

The science park is owned by the University of Oxford. 1 I don't think they're that bothered about earning a pound or two - they seem to muddle along pretty well without! 2 I'm not sure they're that interested in OUFC as an organisation! 3 I don't think they liked our landlord very much when he asked about this a few years ago.

No excuse for the "six foot short" parking that HH describes, but I have been falsely accused of bad parking. I arrived at a car park where every car in a specific area had failed to park between the white lines (a sort of "domino effect" caused by one poor parker). I had no choice but to follow suit. When I returned to my car later every other car in that area had gone and it appeared that I had parked poorly across two spaces, as another passing motorist pointed out.

Did you get away with that plausible excuse?

It would be great if the council could put some extra parking bays in some of the sections on the other side of the road (I can dream). It would also be very helpful if the Stadium Company could make a proper pedestrian entrance into the south east corner of the car park. I am sick of squeezing through the bushes in the mud.

Totally agree with this, some people just cannot drive, maybe a volunteer or two could get there early and 'help' people back up to the last car.
