I didn't go today but it sounded like the sort of performance that Wilder has built this team for.
The midfield 3 dominating the middle of the park, and fully justifying having that extra man in there.
Both fullbacks bombing forward, providing width that is crucial to sustain attacks and periods of pressure from us.
The forward 3, linking well and feeding of the main striker, in this case Maclean. Crucially aswell, all chipping with goals.
Anyway, sounded like the (almost) perfect performance from the Mighty Yellows today, the type of performance this team has been gearing up for. I really hope this was no fluke, and that the 433 system is really now starting to click. Bring on Northampton!

The best performance under CW in his 2 years at OUFC in my opinion and probably one of the best all round "footballing" performances seen by a United team in many years.
The BIG thing was that United had eleven "footballers" on the pitch. Players that are talented and players who passed and moved to great effect.
It was a marvellous performance.

I think our performance against Rovers at the start of the season just topped yesterday but only because that was against supposedly better opposition and that our finishing that night was utterly clinical whereas yesterday it would have been my only mild criticism. Certainly our best league performance this season. We were superb.
