Which would improve/complete Prem Clubs -
Arsenal
Vidic (this is presuming that Vermaelen would be fit to partner him) Cambiasso Lloris (he's young so he'd fit Arsenals 'bill')
Chelsea
Vidic/Vermaelen Rooney (presuming he's on form) Messi/Ronaldo/Robben (type of player)
Liverpool
Only 3 players? Hmmmm.... Vidic Rooney Robben
Manchester United
Torres/Villa Fabregas Lahm/Maicon/Alves (either a Rightback or a goalie)
Yeah, this is random, and i'm bored. But general thoughts? Disagree? Agree?

Xavi, Iniesta, Messi for all of them. If your opposition don't touch the ball then your leaky defence won't be such an issue!
I do see the point of this thread. I'm just being a dick for the sake of it.

Ah Dougie... so young, so naive.... Haha as much as they are 3 of the worlds greatest players. I am with Mick Whatshisface when I don't think Xavi could play in the prem. He wouldn't get enough time on the ball, Messi and Iniesta are just just fantastic - they'd survive but they wouldn't have the 'rape opposition for 90mins 60games a season' effect they have. This is opinion based on watching games in both leagues. I would love to see how Barcalona deal with a Delap long throw - trully I have weaker toes than some of the Barcalona players For the record, I hate Sergio Busquets, he's a useless defensive mid who manages to find time to dive like a girl - I love Esteban Cambiasso, he is a bald, beautiful man who would have had a major impact at the world cup if Maradonna actually knew how to pick defensive players.

You might as well have not named the clubs really, because those players would improve pretty much side in the world, but most aren't realistic signings for the clubs mentioned.
Manchester United need a Scholes and Giggs replacement. Bale and Modric are the obvious choices, I don't know if Tottenham would sell both. They might for a big bid though, at the end of the day they've always been a selling club. Or Ferguson could punt on Stephen Ireland, with the right management he could rediscover his 2008/2009 form which had him looking like one of the most technically gifted players in the league. He just needs his head sorting.
Arsenal...the obvious answer would have been a keeper, but Fabianski has been an improvement on Almunia so I'm not sure it's so imperative now. You're right Lloris would be an improvement though, a very significant one. Possibly a centre back, Vermaelen is the only one I really rate there.
Chelsea - Lukaku as a long-term replacement for Drogba. Also definitely Javi Martinez, he's young, his technical ability is out of this world and Chelsea's midfield is getting on a bit.
Liverpool - where to f**king start?! They need a major clear-out and then depending on where they finish this season, they can asses what level of player they're able to attract. Because history and prestige based on past achievements alone doesn't make the top players want to play for you if it's not coupled with present-day competitiveness.
As for Xavi and Iniesta, I think they'd be brilliant in the premier league. Everyone would've said David Silva wouldn't get enough time on the ball over here, but he's been superb and the transition has been seamless - and Xavi and Iniesta are better players. Neither will ever play here though, or leave Barca at all.

I am with Mick Whatshisface when I don't think Xavi could play in the prem. Haha Don't know who this Mick Whatshisface is, but he clearly doesn't know much about football. If I had to pick one of the three, I'd say Iniesta was probably the one who would be easiest for the likes of Stoke to kick out of the game - but in reality they wouldn't get close enough to him to do that. How would they deal with a Stoke long throw... How would Stoke get the throw-in? Seriously, Pique and Puyol are solid defenders and they would deal with it as well as any. There seems to be some misconception that because Barcelona play the way they do, they aren't tough. Anyone who watches them regularly knows that isn't the case.

McCarthy I believe.
Yeah they'd get jizzed on. But strength wise - they could be in trouble at a Stoke throw! ;D

But strength wise - they could be in trouble at a Stoke throw! ;D That's is complete crap, Holland tried to kick Spain off the pitch in the world cup final and it didn't work. I think you'll find these players give as they get. And Fabregas has excelled in the premiership so why wouldn't Xavi + Iniesta? This is worst thing about the premiership at the moment; kick and rush sides, Stoke, Wolves, Blackburn etc. Look at Blackpool, they play football and are doing a darn sight better than the physical sides.

Don't kid yourself that Blackpool play the Arsenal way. Blackpool are far more exciting to watch. They put huge pressure on the opposition, scrap for everything and spread it wide really quickly. If I could name two teams who play football exactly the way I like it then it would be Crawley and Blackpool. Blackpool are a passing side in the main but aren't afraid to hit it high and long and go steaming in. Look at Campbells goal yesterday, long ball knocked down and a great finish. Wenger could learn from Holloway. Mix it up a bit and get away from that tip tap triangle football and obsession with walking it in.
