It's a good job oxford aren't like that otherwise they would have gone berserk at the Bald Eagle coming back and been sorely disappointmented! Moral of the story - never go back; you have nothing to prove but lots to lose! Don't worry - he's not coming back permanently, just a temporary measure until they reappoint Rafa!

No Baldy, you choose to make things confusing for others. It's a familiar tactic of yours to deflect attention away from your own idiosyncrasies. It all comes down to the old chestnut of whether you believe a person can "support" two teams. I don't believe you can hold the same degree of love and affection for two separate clubs. Neither do you, apparently, as you seem able to list Oxford as "first" in your football life. I have the slightest liking for Hartlepool United, as half my family are from the town. I couldn't give a stuff about Darlington though, even though they're Hartlepool's major rivals. And I would never claim to "support" Hartlepool, even as a second team. When Oxford play them again I want us to win 5-0 and I will hold no affection for them at all on the day. Feel the rivalry for Swindon, Baldy, as I do, but ignore any second hand rivalries for your second team's opponents. Now that's a quite straight forward logic that's easy to follow. PS And ignore Moob's intrusion. He hates it when any thread doesn't involve him as centre of attention. Sorry to 'intrude' as you put it but my earlier 'intrusion' was merely to highlight the fact we have done this to death. Baldy likes 2 clubs, he likes Man Utd, we've all known this for donkeys years - deal with it. Whilst I understand that this disgusts some people and others don't understand it, I don't get why they have such a problem with it. Why can't you respect the fact that people are different, have different likes, dislikes and if someone like another team that's their prerogative?

So it should be respected that people are different with different views, eh? Well how about respecting my right not to understand, or much like, Baldy's apparent ability to support two teams? And that's the crux - he claims to SUPPORT two teams, not support one and just like the other. I didn't realise there was a time limit on topics to be discussed, and I'm also pretty sure you may have mentioned Baldy's Man U preferences once or twice yourself. I realise hypocrisy is the master of this forum, but you're knee deep in it.

If I'm talking Oxford then I'm obviously an Oxford fan. If, somehow, I'm in a conversation that involves the merits of both teams then I'm Oxford all the way. I don't know what the definition of supporter, fan, etc is but I have a season ticket at Oxford and not one at Man U so I wouldn't say it was particularly difficult to work out which team I 'support'.

Not being picky, Baldy, just making it clear that I don't understand the very concept of sticking up for another team as you do so vehemently for Man U. Perhaps it would require a face to face chat over a pint to try to "get it"? I would include Moobs in the invitation, but he doesn't come to matches. There, an opportunity for another Moobs "yawn*.

Unlike Baldy I don't support 2 teams, I just 'like' Arsenal. I'll probably be at Roots Hall
