Luck does NOT last for nearly 30 games. I think its something like 1 defeat in 38 games in all competitions if you count the back end of last season and if thats an average team then I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about. 'Luck' - what a load of absolute bollocks.

No, not at all. They don't need any players. Dig out some of my old postings from the summer and I argued tirelessly that Man U had the strongest squad in the Premiership by a mile. I was shot down as some sort of clueless numpty with everyone saying their squad was the weakest its ever been. That is just rubbish, its a ridiculously strong squad with quality cover three times over in some positions.
Man U need nobody right now. There will be an overhaul in the summer because there are a few ageing legs who will need replacing but do they have enough to see this season through and pick up a couple of trophies ? Yes, without a shadow of doubt.

Take a look at Wes Brown. I like him but plenty ridicule him but the fact is he is, at least, a very good player if not an excellent one. Anyway, he is a player who is currently 6th choice centre back and third choice right back. If thats not strength in depth then what is ?

Wes brown is a solid premier league centre back. not a bad guy to have effectively in the reserves.
Man U need maybe a top class centre back and a central midfielder. But both of them can probably wait until the end of the season.
End of the day, Man U have the title won for this year, so will see what is what at the end of the season and buy the players they need, which cannot be said for City.

Don't be silly. People who dont rate Wes Brown are the same lot who didn't rate Phil Neville. You know him, the one who made hundreds of appearances for Man U in the 90's, has racked up a few hundred for Everton, a good lot for England and the player who Harry Redknapp wanted in a £3m deal last week at 33 years old.q There have been one or two duds in Fergies time but Brown most certainly is not one of them. Think about it, if you're crap you might get one contract from Fergie but Brown has just signed his fifth long term contract at Man U. Unless you know sometrhing Fergie doesn't I'd say he's better than championship level.

Do they need to sign anyone? Unbeaten in the league, going strong in European Competition, and through to the 4th round of the cup. I'd say maybe not.... There's no way they can win the Champions League IMO. I'd be shocked if they did. The Spanish teams for two have untold amounts more quality. Wouldn't be surprised at a domestic double though.
