I've just read that Quinn, too is playing for Brackley Town as well as Basham, Turley, Green, Blackwood,Willmott et al. I thought Quinn had gone abroad after being released last summer; how long has he been at Brackley? Their wage bill must be frightening for the level they are at

Barry Quinn is a great big pile of dogshit
Good luck on him for conning another club into paying him for doing nothing
Can we report him to rogue traders?

Why has Moobs now changed his name to 'I've got a brand new combine harvester'?!

He is like, or is Brownlie, no matter what his name is we will find him out just by the quality of his posts. Barry Quinn didn't have a bad match, they were a better unit for their level than we were but as I said in another post it was about match fitness tonight and the regular team members got some important time in.

Thought he was quite good at the start of our first season in the conference playing in the centre of a back 3. Then, it all went to shit.

i actually quite liked barry quinn - IMO we have had far worse players at the club for deserve to be critisicised rather than Quinn who did give everything he had.

He always gave 100% and was never to be found shirking his responsibilities. We could have done with a whole team of Barry Quinns.

I believe Barry Quinn was always totally committed. He was never the quickest, nor the positionally most astute, and so he became a liability, too often caught out by pacier forwards. But he was a loyal servant of the club, who does not deserve abuse.

Interesting:
Quinn played under Gordon Strachan at Cov.Brian Talbot (R&D) Ian Atkins, Graham Rix, Ramon Diaz, Brian Talbot (OUFC) Darren Patterson, Jim Smith, Darren Patterson (again) before Tufty unloaded him last summer.
Was he really that bad ? I don't think so. When he first came to Oxford under Atkins he played centre mid and looked very good with a great range of passing with both feet.
Not great with penalties though - I was pretty pissed off when he strode forward against Exeter in the play semi in '07 and duly fluffed his spotkick.
Having a lot of managers can work both ways !

That's just a nice way of saying he was shit Whenever he was in the team we seemed to do badly, the one common denominator in our declining years
