As we're apparantly 'forbidden' from talking about Arsenal/Man Utd, I noticed the Scum are six points from the drop zone. Do you reckon they'll be joining us in League 2 next season? Or maybe we might even go up and join them in League 1. It's been a long time coming. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/default.stm

Realistically if we meet it will be in league 2, though wouldn't it be funny if they came down and we went up.

I can't really see Swindon coming down when they have a striker as good as Charlie Austin banging in the goals. he scored two at Charlton on Saturday and cost Phil Parkinson his job. Would love to see it though

Austin may be leaving soon. Then the scum will have a no real goalscorer, so coming down is not outside the realm of possibility.

Would be quite nice to swap places with them ;D
Not sure why you think its ' forbidden ' from talking about Arsenal/Man Utd ?

To be fair to them they've got a decent scouting network which extends to nonleague..

I also think they've ha a nicer kit than us for the last few years.
I cannot imagine how good the derby would be given its almost a decade since we played them (which seems unbelievable as it seemed like ages last time we played them since the one before that).
I would love a chance to go back to the County Ground. I was still in my teens last time!

I'd love to see us win at the cg! The atmosphere is always quality when we go to that hole!
Can you imagine how fired up say Worley and Beano would be!

To be fair to them they've got a decent scouting network which extends to nonleague.. They did sort of stumble upon Austin though. Apparently their chairman used to be chair at Hungerford where Austin was playing at the time. Austin moved on to Poole where he got a bit more exposure and it was only really when Bournemouth became really keen that Swindons chairmans ears pricked up and he alerted Wilson and the rest is history. I dont think, in Austins case, that he was trailed for months on end in the non league. He sort of landed at Swindon by default. I would agree though that their scouting netowrk in general does unearth some decent players and obviously makes them a tidy profit on the likes of Cox, Austin etc.

I consequently threw boiling water into my eyes as a punishment........
