There are several issues facing any potential manager at Liverpool. Obviously there is the poor on field situation. Results are dog sh8te at the moment along with some of the players. The players that aren't out of their depth are underperforming, and on top of that the likes of Gerrard and Carragher, who should be able to motivate themselves to drag the team kicking and screaming to results are under par and the latter is injured long term.
In addition to that is the off field situation. The new owners obviously are shrewd investers and will not simply throw money at the side to try and make it successful. Thus any potential incumbent will need to be able to work on a budget. In addition the owners clearly do not trust any manager with their money and have appointed Comolli as director of football strategy so that their cash, such as they see fit to invest, is not wasted. As a result any manager will have to be able to work with a middle man who ultimately has the final say on what they are allowed to do.
Both these situations, combined with the fact that Liverpool's stock as a glorious name in the annals of football has fallen through the floor in the last few years is sure to put off all but the most strong stomached of managers.

I think Henry and Werner would be good for him. Berliner, how do you feel he would work with Comolli? Would that partnership work. If Comolli interferes in team selection or transfers, then you won't see Rangnick for dust...
