We all know that Wenger has problems with his eyesight and Fergie says one thing one day and the opposite a few days later so how about putting all those bits of hypocracy in one place.
I'll start with Sir Alex.
Just after the Birmigham game where Man Utd were on the wrong end of a decision: "He [Zigic] went right through the back of him [Ferdinand]. If the ref can't see that, what chance have you got?"
He added: "That's where we expect them [Premier League officials] to get a referee who sees that. If you can't see that, what chance have you got?"
And after they benefitted from a poor decision against West Brom: And United boss Ferguson added: “I thought it was a penalty. I think it was difficult for the ref because at the time I felt Gary got the ball, but when I saw the replay he got the outside of the player’s leg.”
So is it difficult for the ref or should he see it?
Feel free to add your own.

Can I quickly ask.
Do you expect them to say "It wasn't a penalty, we should have won but you have to give it to ref because he was running around for 89mins"

Defend their own players for what most of us would consider indefensible and blame anyone but themselves or their team for defeat.

McLeish on Bowyer's multiple stamps. "I did not see it" Did he say it in a French accent?

It was a penalty to WBA and Neville should have gone. In defence of the referee the ball did deviate slightly in the direction of Nevilles attempted challenge but on a closer look it does flick off the leg of the attacker. If thats what the ref saw then I can see how he made the error but it doesn't detract from the fact that Man U were fortunate.
The biggest con of the weekend was that tuck and roll by RVP. That has to be one of the most ludicrous dives in premiership history. Was the little donkey kick to trip himself up followed by a triple roll really nescessary ?

Man u should have been down to nine by the end of that game with west brom getting 2 pens. In fact if the ref had been anywhere near competant he would have sent off that tit that handballed so blatantly too and given a pen to united for good measure.

It was the kind of dive that (sadly) goes on week in week out. Nothing special about it.

My thoughts exactly. It was the kind of dive that (sadly) goes on week in week out. Nothing special about it. Arsenal fans sticking together I see. I'm a one team man, Oxford Utd. I know you can't quite grasp that notion. Trouble is as a Man Utd fan you have to see the world through "Fergievision". Arsenal players cheat (RVP's dive was pathetic - and should be dealt with retrospectively - something that should be put in place to deal with cheating/diving/feigning injury). So do Man Utd players. So does every premier league team.Unless you can accept that your beloved team has cheats in it then your views are so obviously biased it's laughable. If an Arsenal player had done what Bowyer did (the stamping) you would be on here calling for lengthy bans. One of your new favourite players, Tiote at Newcastle was cheating at the weekend. No wonder you want him at Man Utd Examples of Man Utd players cheating/diving were posted on here a while back and your defending of Rooney's cheating was hilarious. Try taking off the Red tinted glasses and condemn Man Utd players when they cheat.

I think the phrase you'd use about the von persie incident if he played for Mancheser united is "there was contact but he went down a little easily. "
For me the player of the weekend was Bacary Sagna. An unsung hero for arsenal and how he dealt with the Bowyer incidents!

A couple more from this week:
Ian Holloway:
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has launched an outspoken attack on Liverpool, claiming the club’s £4.5 million bid for Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam was “disgraceful”.
“They had better start by putting a figure one in front of the complete rubbish they have been offering so far.”
So Holloway thinks he's worth 3 times what they have been offered.
Then he offers Plymouth £25,000 for Bradley Wright-Phillips. Reading offered £300,000 for him.
Then Steve Bruce moans about Darren Bent leaving Sunderland and talks about loyalty!
Ask Wigan, Palace and Birmingham fans about loyalty Steve.
