Their is an 1985-86 Oxford top for sale on some retro kits site for £250. A mate of mine has a Ray Houghton worn match shirt from the same season which he wore to wembley for the play off final and someone offered him £200 in the Globe on Baker street before the game, even though it has an iron mark on it courtesy of his mum some years back.

Crikey, I could make some money here. Only a small one though.

There were also some 1964 FA Cup programmes against Blackburn and Preston at varying prices £3-00 upwards . To be honest that is not much for a programme nearly 50 years old

The club should do a run of retro replicas at an affordable price. If people are prepared to pay that for an original the demand must be there.

To be honest that is not much for a programme nearly 50 years old I've got both those programmes plus the umbro shirt, I must be sad. Just need the social club sign for the full set of memorabilia. I'd love to see the club to a retro gold shirt, Headington style.

I bought my dad a sixties retro shirt off an internet site for xmas and have seen other people wearing them around. The retro football kit seems to be quite a big business opportunity for the club.

Retro shirts appeal to people like me who are too stingy to keep buying new shirts every time they change.

This is where I feel the club have missed a massive trick, if they brought out a retro look kit this season to coincide with our return to the league, fans would have lapped it up, instead of that ridiculous blue stripey kit we have at the moment

That aside i wasn't talking about a retro look kit, but an actual replica of the 86 WANG kit. Other clubs do reruns of kits from famous seasons for sale to fans, rather than for the team to wear, and rake in the cash as a result. The problem for us would, i suppose, be that bl00dy justsport deal which would preclude a private order by the club of shirts made by a manufacturer other than nike!?

Perhaps a kit very similar to the 1986 shirt could be made by Just Sport for next season? A simple yellow V-neck with navy trim round the collar and 'cuffs'. Ker-ching!
