1, Did Chris Williams resign of his own accord or was he pushed ??. Does it matter - he's gone now - finding out the answer is irrelevant2, Has a meeting taken place between the owner and Oxvox?? I'm sure Oxvox can answer that3, Has Kelvin Thomas missed a trick by letting Bulman go on a free?? No, once Bulman went on loan he was never going to come back, even though it's crawley, asking for a fee would have probably scuppered the move and Bulman would have just sat in the reserves4, Has enough been done to ensure the next home game is played ? what else can be done? pitch covers, I presume heaters again, you can't control the weather5, Will we see the Beast back at the club in place of Futcher?? doubt it, Wrexham will want him, probably depends on if Futcher or another signs for us6, Can we afford to sign Maclean?? i doubt it, he must be on decent championship wages7, Will we see many new faces in the squad at the end of the transfer window?? well if Bulman, Day, Midson, Creighton, Cole and Baker go then we need some squad players in as backupThe above questions need to be answered.

OxVox have had a meeting with the owner last week and the subsequent notes are just being finalised. They will be on the trust site soon. When did this meeting take place and who with?? When you say Oxvox do you mean a few or has IL met with all of the comittee? Are the fans going to be given full details of what was discussed at this meeting or will we get a carefully edited version?? I hope we the fans dont have to wait to long to read these minutes as we have in the past.

The entire committee met, with the exception of one. The meeting was last week and I have no reason why the notes would be edited. Mr lenagan was very open and answered all the questions raised. I suspect info will be released very shortly. Positive meeting.

a) How is it an "overhaul"? We still have Clarke, Batt, Wright, Tonkin, Chapman(ish), Clist, Beano, Green, Potter. Not that different.
b) It's not even worth making parallels with last year...we're in a better league now and we need better players, regardless of how much we love those going out the exit door. We're not top, and we need results to improve. Those who are being shown the door have been given their chance and haven't taken it, aside from Bulman perhaps but having had his place taken the minute Payne came in, who is a better player, he'd wouldn't get in our first XI and is at the age where he needs to be playing every week.
I look forward to reading the minutes of the meeting BB.

1, Did Chris Williams resign of his own accord or was he pushed ??. A member of the admin staff leaving should never concern a fan too much. 2, Has a meeting taken place between the owner and Oxvox?? About what ? There aren't too many issues that need answering. Things are ticking along nicely and we're consolidating back in the football league. 3, Has Kelvin Thomas missed a trick by letting Bulman go on a free?? Don't be ridiculous. How many thirty somethings leave a football league club for a conference one for a fee ? 4, Has enough been done to ensure the next home game is played ? Seems like it. I'm sure the management and players are chomping at the bit to play. 5, Will we see the Beast back at the club in place of Futcher?? Definitely not. Futcher is leaving us when his loan expires - as is Wotton - and Creighton wont play for us again. 6, Can we afford to sign Maclean?? I think we want to and Wilder seems to get his own way on most deals. Its looks as though wages are being freed up elsewhere and MacLean will be the number one target. 7, Will we see many new faces in the squad at the end of the transfer window?? MacLean and maybe one other but more will leave than arrive and that is an indication that MacLean is a priority. The above questions need to be answered.

I suspect info will be released very shortly. Positive meeting. Nice to see that IL was very open, but was he being honest?? Did he answer some of the questions posed on the IL thread. Has he recieved an offer for the club? Is he in a position to buy the stadium? Look forward to seeing the mins of this meeting very soon.

The entire committee met, with the exception of one. The meeting was last week and I have no reason why the notes would be edited. Mr lenagan was very open and answered all the questions raised. I suspect info will be released very shortly. Positive meeting. As BB says, our whole committee of nine were there with the exception of one, Matt Derbyshire, who was indisposed. We've written up and sent a very full set of notes of the meeting to IL - the notes were emailed to him on Friday night, having taken us a few days to put them together from different committee members' meeting notes so as to get as full a record as we could. There's now a short piece at www.oxvox.org.uk/news.aspx?id=231 on the OxVox website about the meeting having taken place. Many of the questions posted here were covered, as were questions raised in our online survey of OxVox members in advance of the meeting, details of which are at www.oxvox.org.uk/news.aspx?id=230 If you're a member of OxVox this information has been emailed to you this afternoon, assuming we have your up to date email details. Please check your inbox, there are sometimes delays in our software provider's queueing system. We also hear of some emails ending up in spam folders, despite us adding authentication to them. If this happens just set your mailer to recognise updates@oxvox.org.uk as a safe address. Finally, if you are a current member of OxVox and don't receive an email from us today, could you please email updates@oxvox.org.uk so we know your up to date email address. Our system does inform us about bouncing addresses most of the time, but sometimes not!
