Sheff Utd have given him permission to speak to the Welsh FA about the Wales managers job. Should we worry?

I doubt Shef Utd see Wilder, who is a manager of a side lying 16th in League Two, as the answer to their problems in the Championship. If he gets us promoted this year, then next time he may have a shout.
Until then they should try a big name. Maybe Hughton, Southgate or the bloke from Sc*nthorpe whos name escapes me. Maybe Donnys manager... That would cause a bit of rucus up there!!

When they appointed Gary Speed, it showed they were not going to go after a currently employed manager.
If he hadn't gone to Newcastle, I would have expected Pardew to take it.

16/1 on Skybet for Wilder to get it. Although there are some big names above him.

Would Andy Melville be lured away by it though? Maybe not as a manager, but as an assistant or a coach to whoever came in?

It has just struck me a while ago rumour of Wilder being tempted away would have been a worry, now not really at all. Maybe this is just a reflection of the doubts I still have over his ability to be a success at this level. But I am fairly certain should he leave we would be able to replace him with someone who could do at least as well and possibly better.
I still feel Mr Wilder has a lot to learn and a lot to prove in the next half of the season. Having said all that I would still love for him to stay and improve with us (and for him to banish the doubts from some of our minds).

At this stage CW will have to prove himself in League 2. No move until then.

It's not a good time to go there anyway, they are in financial problems and have to reduce their squad size and wage bill

Chris Wilders' aims and attributes when he came to Oxford included sorting the squad out, had the ability to reduce the wage bill and get players who represented Value for Money and at a club who were in a precarious financial position.
So....keep your hands off Sheffield !

CW has done little to attract Sheff Utd recently though has he?
