I said keep CW and keep believing. Its only one win but its a massive three points and in terms of the circumstances we've achieved it in then I'd say its like gaining six points.

Thats fair, you have been consistently balanced in your views re CW (unlike many others)so I agree with you! There's a first, lets look forward to more of the same between us.

Good job that CW finally listend to the keyboard managers and played Craddock in the middle in a 4-4-2.

I wasn't that surprised to see us win tonight but when we were losing 0-1 I was not so optimistic

I think you will find that a few home truths were dished out between the debacle on Saturday and last night.
Lets just hope that 442 is now the prefered system, after all we have now beaten both the front runners (Port Vale & Chesterfield) playing with 2 up front.
Last nights game showed us and Wilder that getting the right personell in the right positions in the right system will see results.
As for sacking Wilder, I have always stated that the club could not afford to sack him due to the amount of money it would cost the club.
Stick with a consistant side rather than tinker week in week out and we will survive in this league.

One swallow does not make a summer. Harsh - CW has turned this club around in under two years. We were a laughing stock under Jim and then Patto and losing vast sums of money and trapped in a non-league wilderness. His winning promotion (the first 'gaffer' in years to be succesful) means he should be afforded a massive amount of slack. The suggestion that CW should be sacked is barmy. Ridiculous even. He should be backed!

Yes but we want success and we can't wait for it. Instant success and nothing else is good enough.....

I still think he has until Christmas before a decision can be made. One win is great, but what if he loses the next three!!!
So far his record is not great in this league and he still has a lot to prove. So many weird decision and team selections have taken place this season that for me the jury is still out.
I realy, really hope he gets it right, firstly because of what he did last season, and secondly for the sake of the club.

He should be backed! I don't disagree but it's how you measure that success. For a club our size being in the top 5 of the conference is no great feat when there's so many mickey mouse clubs there. Look how we've struggled in a more competitive league this season. He galvanised the side for the play offs and for that we are gratefull but our overall form over the whole season especially towards the end was average. Perhaps ludy luck was smiling on him in May but now it's run out and he's finally come up short.
