I make it that it cost (not including wages)
Berbatov: £909,090 per goal.
£30m / 33g
Chamakh: £0 per goal
£0 / 5g

Could be a fact though? Then again it could be paranoia? Have you ever read a thread about Tonkin? by the way? EDIT: Junior still confused

a while back joe the a and moobs were going off on one about berbartov, i think on tiu the a started a thread about him calling him berbaflop..
so me and the a have had a bet that he scores more or less than 15 goals in all comps this season, the loser pays £20 to the tess fund...
i believe he is on 6 so far...

Chamakh offers precisely nothing to a football team so a free transfer is about right. An absolute donkey. He will get the odd goal just like Beano would get one or two in the Premiership.
At least Berbatov is a genuine footballer who can actually play the game. Goals alone does not justify his price tag but anyone can see he brings more than goals to a team.
You'd be gutted if you actually parted with any money for Chamakh.

The last time he scored was when you beat Liverpool back in september, everyone raved but I said I bet he doesn't score again for ages. Proved right. An average player with a world class price tag

What does Berbatov bring to a team? He does f**k all but score the occasional goal. Signing Berbatov and letting Tevez leave are Ferguson's strangest/worst decision during all his years at man u.

Tevez was offered a contract but rejected it because he wanted more money - City offered that money so off he went.

Tevez was offered a contract but rejected it because he wanted more money - City offered that money so off he went. But he had already splashed out on Berbaflop so therefore could not justify the extra outlay. Saying that he has surrendered to obscene player wage demands with Shrek. Where is Rooney these days? I almost forgot about the ugly fu cker he's been sunning it up so long. Got to be the longest wage increase celebration ever.....
