OK, fair enough. Have been in Italy so am following from afar but didnt know he started against Didcot.
But the fact remains that he has had less game time than all other players and this is a sign that his development is still the main focus. The fact he started in the youth game proves this.
It is highly unlikely that he will get much game time in the next two games too.

I don't think we need another striker, Cole, Potter and Deering all play wide forward in the current formation, Matt Green can also play there, which Leaves Beano as the lone centre forward with Midson and Woodley as back up, that's plenty imo.

However I was disappointed with him (and West) at Didcot. Woodley was up against Guy Butters in the first half and barely got a kick. IMO has quite a way to go before he is challenging for a first team start.

Didn't do much when come on in Scotland. I don't think we need to sign another striker yet. And maybe give Woodley 3months loan to a Blue Square south club?
