Sorry to state the bleeding obvious but we still still desperately need a forward to complete our squad. Anyone in the know have any names?

yep. i'm sure cw wants another striker. he knows that if constable is either injured or suspended, then we are considerably less potent
maybe we'll see one arrive a couple of months in to the season. similar to the time when cook signed

Admit it. You are ed-admin from the Oxford Mail. Even you have left there.

We will get a new striker.
Think about it - we have lost cook. Even with Cooky S+CW always wanted another as shown by grant and sodje. We will get someone in before Burton I am sure

Wilder has clearly said and said it at fans forum. They aint planning on signing another striker. the whole coaching staff Have high hopes for Woodley, He is now a complete member of the first team. He's happy we will score enough goals from midfield this season. And i agree. He said we'll only sign a striker if one comes to them, and is right price etc, more than him looking to get one. If Beano get's injured, or we're desperate for another striker in 6weeks time. We'll get one on loan, i'm sure.

If he is a full part of this squad then why hasn't he made a single appearance in the friendlies except for the youth one?

If he is a full part of this squad then why hasn't he made a single appearance in the friendlies except for the youth one? Like the Dumbarton one when he came off the bench when Cole went off injured or the Livingston one when he came on for Midson?

I don't know, but out of the 180 mins of football, how many minutes has he been on the pitch in those 2 games?

We haven't made a loan signing yet, perhaps a striker from a higher league club will come in on loan?

no point getting a loan in before the season as it will waste weeks he will be with us...

Everyone else has had a start and Wilder has made a point of rotating those starting positions so everyone gets a fair crack.

What's that saying about 'When in a hole...' seriously though I know what you mean, but he still has to be eased in and not just forced to compete with seasoned pros straight away. I'm sure he'll get his chance, and if he takes it then great if not, we look to the loan window at a later date (or just closer to the season proper).
