I've heard that the club have some yellow and blue nets. So why the hell have they not been used?
We had all the enthusiasm about the dates being put up on the SSU, but when the club has the chance to make the ground seem more 'Oxford', it doesn't.
Why?

Perhaps the yellow and blue nets aren't in good condition?

I think the club have to seek permission from the FA to use alternate coulour nets that differ from the standard white or newly accepted black from UEFA. I don't think two-tone coloured ones are allowed now. Anyway it's not that important and blue and yellow would look as tinpot as what Oxford City have. White is fine. 1 game, 3 goals and still moaning

Both clubs were told that they had to use plain white. Grey, black, white are all acceptable but you can't have two colours on one net e.g stripe form.

I think the main restriction on goal nets is that they can't have advertising.

I heard the white ones were used because Kelvin Thomas doesn't like the yellow and blue ones.
Miserable git!
