I googled "Glory Awaits You" hoping to find it was a passage from Shakespeare or a rousing speech from Churchill.. What came up? Star Trek and some nerdy p.c game! Forget it!

Fortis Est Veritas
"Truth is Strength", which is the motto for the City of Oxford.
Rather fitting.

I like the idea, but I think keep it in English. The clubs that have it in Latin have probably had that saying since they were founded and I don't like the idea of tacking something on to seem old. BUT in English it signifies a whole new era for the club and I think having it above the tunnel as the lads run out would be a great idea. Agree. I know no Latin and see absolutely no point in using some old foreign rubbish that no one understands unless you want to show off how clever you are. Leave that to the upper class club in the centre of Oxford and lets distance ourselves from them by maintaining the status quo and use good old english. ;D Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words so let leave the badge as it is and stop meddling. If the Ultra's want to display their banner or any other group their's then great but it does not need to become an official saying.

Just as a reminder the OxVox SSU board project has 'Our club, our passion, our pride' as first and last boards sandwiching the key year and trophy section, Why not have a separate large banner up behind the East Stand to complement the boards? Just a thought. Good idea - would look good but would need some decent donations to make this happen. Maybe OxVox could receive donations for this through their web site
