With the signing of Worley we now have two complete teams. Team 1 .................Clarke Batt Creighton Wright Tonkin .................Heslop .....Bulman.............Clist ..Green....Beano....Midson Team 2 ...Cole....Woodley....Potter ...............Deering .....Hall..................Baker Kinni..Day...Worley...Purkiss ...........Eastwood Team 1 would be more consistent with strength and experience but Team 2 would have more pace and trickery with the likes of Cole, Potter and Deering. BTW this is not my preference as it is really hard to pick a best 11 now, with so much strength in the quality of the players. Yet it is still a fairly small squad. Happy Days!!

Still to see the completely new lads play, so we'll see on their ability (and Cole's injuries), but I'd still rather have quality over quantity. We're also in a better situation with having a proper reserve team this year........ Less than 16 freaking days to go now.

that strikeforce in team 2 highlights the need for another striker if you ask me I'm not so sure we need another striker- yet. There's plenty of strong competition within the Squad, and i think CW intends seeing how things develop before making any more new signings. It would be ideal to wait until Christmas time (depending on the situation) and then bring in a couple of signings to boost us in the New year.

I agree, it's just the way the teams are grouped that makes team 2 look light up front. If you swapped Cole for Midson and even Potter for Green, Team 1 doesn't get particularly weakened. Whereas Team 2 now looks more potent. Still a lot to be decided on what the first starting line up will be.

i think kinni will play over tonkin in the first team, and i also think hall will start over clist for the first few weeks due to him recovering from his opperation

I guarantee you that team 1 will be at least 3-4 people different from that come first match of season. Defo no clist through injury and I think Hall will be in the starting 11. Kinniburgh may start LB and also not sure if we will stick with Green/Beano/Mido 3 man attack. We might but with Potter/Deering/Cole and hopefully woodley pushing for a place Midson needs to play well in every game he plays to keep his place.
