Left the Cobblers in May, rumoured to be joining Aberdeen, Hibs and latterly Southend. Where will the big guy end up ?
Or have I missed something?

I've said before, I would love to see Akinfenwa here. Don't get me wrong, we have a top strike force with Constable, Midson, Green, with Cole, Potter and Deering able to play the supporting roles, but Akinfenwa would add something different to all of them, a bit of in-your-face hustle and bustle, a bit of power. He is most probably out of our wage structure, and Kelvin is far too sensible to blow it on one player, so its most likely a no go.

If the squad structure of 21-22 is to be kept, if another player comes in one might have to go out, unless they have found some more money. Out of that list Mids looks a possibility.

I'd put money on Midson leaving either before the end of the current window or in January.
I just have a feeling about it - sorry.
I like Jack, he has good technical ability but the step up may be a bridge too far but I sincerely hope I am wrong.

If Mids is not producing the goods, CW has no sentiment for players and will try and find better, last season we had no threat from midfield so the pressure and expectation on Mids might have been a problem, Mids does not look a confident player in front of goal he has the chances but is not putting them away, it put more pressure on Beano. We seem to have more threat from our midfield this season, but I still think we need another consistent goal scorer to give us options and be less predictable.

Unless another goalscorer is brought in, I think it will be a midtable finish looking back on plenty of missed opportunities. Ideally, we can expect 20 from Constable, 12 from Matt Green, and then another 12 from the right sided forward. It's going to be a good season though, full of confidence.

If true don't see what's changed. I don't rate midson scoring ability but Wilder rates him for his all round game. Could be true later if come January he is still not scoring.

Signed for that Medway town for 12 months. He obviously likes living in $hit holes.
