Ha! something tells me they have realised that they have cocked up and panic is setting in now they know they are going to have a dead forum from what was an extremely popular one! Well put to them eaststandboy as although u can understand what he is saying to you, you are perfectly correct with your response imo

Anyway onwards and upwards. The demise of TIU is a great shame, but it's a bit like having a girlfriend who has put on five stone, got a crewcut, massive tattoos on her arms, and generally let herself go a bit. i.e. you look elsewhere for something better!
They've chose to disband a very good forum, and give us an inferior forum page full of adverts with a forum somewhere in the middle, and now people are voting with their feet.

Slight touch of panic there maybe? . They have had a rough time recently! I don't. You reap what you sow. They've ignored our request to cut down on the extreme over-the-top, in your face advertising, and they said "No". So we said "Goodbye then". This one has tiny advert at the top, which is easily ignored, and the main empasis is on the forum. In other words a forum with a small advert, as opposed to a page full of adverts with a forum somewhere in the middle. |
