With the news that the core strategy is for 8000 extra homes around Oxford in the next 15 years, shouldn't we be welcoming as much development as possible round here to increase the potential support (what with no other league clubs for miles around). I'm certainly all for it as long as the new homes are not within 5 miles of mine.

I wonder what the percentage of new migrants to the city will become Oxford fans?

Is this concrete news (no pun intended!)? Do you have a link?
They've been going on about extending Greter Leys. but I thought this had been blocked by the stupid council.

Simple, we need more houses and less green grass. Sad but true.

Do a deal with the housing developers\council. Every new home gets a lucky 7 ticket.

They should knock down the Bowlplex , hotels + Kassam stadium & build housing there instead. They should also knock down that hospital at the end of Beech Rd in Headington & build a new football ground.
Perhaps I should become a local Councillor.
Vote Grampa "knocking down things for a brighter future"

Simple, we need more houses and less green grass. Sad but true. I think theres plenty of brownfield sites available. As an Oxford example look at the development where the old Lucy's factory was. Thats the kind of thing we need.
