From Manchester where i live it'd have to be Upton Park which was 4 and a half hours. I did have a stop in Oxford overnight though. For just a day trip it'd have to be the playoff semi final v Rushden - worth it though! 6 hours travelling.. 2 hours at the match

Carlisle in 2004. Took 5 hours hours to get there from Warwickshire.
And we lost.

Not got a good away record... YET.
Bournemouth
Barnet Leyton Orient Arsenal Luton Kettering
Probably one or two more.
Bournemouth is probably furthest away.

As Lone Gunman will confirm, pretty much any match if you have to start out from Aberystwyth.

Barrow, last season.
Also went to Altrincham and York, plus Torquay the season before.

Oh - if we are going international - Brazil 2 England1 Maracana Stadium 1969.
As regards Oxford - I think probably Tranmere in the 1960's.
Think we won 4-0 but might have been 4-2. Pre motorway days and took ages in an old Crappers half-cab coach.

For Oxford it would be Carlisle - can't remember the year, but sometime in the late '90s (we lost, of course).
Internationally it would probably be St Kilda v someone in Melbourne, Australia.

Oxford - Hull City at their old ground, around 1995?, 0-0 draw
Internationally - Estudiantes de Merida (Venezuela) Vs Necaxa (Mexico) in the Copa Libertadores 1998 Guess what? Another 0-0 draw........

Longest i've ever done is probably histon away (from aber) or barrow away. The last time we played carlisle I was living in kendal so it was only a 40 minute journey. If i'd still been up north Barrow would only have been about that too.
All this bearing in mind that a home game is for me a 4+ hour journey!

Barrow in official fixtures (three times) 304.7 miles. I thought Gateshead was more miles but checking is 303 from home - anyway Barrow just seems further, almost like going back in time to the 70s; Greenock Morton, Dumbarton, Livingston in the friendlies. Overseas - Stadio Algarve in Euro 2004 for Sweden-Holland quarter final

For OUFC got to be Barrow (340 miles for me) in the league and either Livingston or Dumbarton for a friendly (470ish for both). I think that Carlise is further in mileage but Barrow takes longer to get to. Also Gateshead was a long distance one but I cheated by flying there!
For England it would be Berlin (in November 2008) or maybe Lisbon (Euro 2004).
