Not sure how they arrived at that They could not even tell how many tickets they had sold so how do they know how many people are going to be in the away end. Heard it all before. Seriously heard it all before.

Because plenty of people on here have stated theyre going in the home end. One group of season ticket holders bought 20 in the home end.

I gather from this it is sold out then? I bought a membership card on Saturday and a match ticket to go. Was happy to give the club an extra £30.

I gather from this it is sold out then? Don't think so. The official site, in the Butron preview, says "Only a limited number of tickets remain for this game."

To the poster who said there would be 300 in the home end - what are you on buddy as i want some. If we can't even sell our allocation in the away end why would there be 300 U's fans in the home end? I await a whoosh!

Given the number of season ticket holders we're supposed to have I'm very surprised they didn't snap them all up to begin with.... Given the larger number of non season ticket holders we have I'm surprised they have not all been snapped up now on open sale. A poor showing by the non-ST holders if you ask me. Fantastic! ;D

Burton ticket update Posted on: Thu 05 Aug 2010
There are now less than 100 terrace tickets available for Saturday's first npower league 2 game at Burton Albion.
These are priced £13 adults, £11 for over 65s and students (17-22) and £4 for under 11s
Terrace tickets are available from the Oxford United ticket office on 01865 337533
The game remains ALL TICKET for United fans and fans without tickets should not travel on the day.
Although our initial allocation of seat tickets have now sold out Burton have made a limited number of additional seat tickets available for Oxford United supporters.
These tickets can be purchased direct from Burton Albion by calling the Club on 01283 565938. These tickets are of a limited number and are strictly subject to availability.

I wonder how many that limited number is. I presume you would have to collect them on the day.

I can't believe we've not sold out yet.
Surely we can shift these last 100 or so by the end of tomorrow?

We did sell out...Burton agreed to give us a few (100) additional terrace tickets, and they're the ones that are now available to a few more lucky Yellows.

Oh ok. I took it as we've still got 100 terrace tickets left from the initial allocation and Burton upped the amount of seats just in case we could shift them.
Whatever we take now will be plenty good enough for our long overdue return to the league. Can't wait.

Perhaps the thread about going in the home end prompted them to make more tickets available?
Could be near 1800 Oxford there on Saturday

The 100 terrace tickets are remaining tickets. The extra tickets are for the seated area (doesn't say how many) as we had sold all those - "Although our initial allocation of seat tickets have now sold out Burton have made a limited number of additional seat tickets available for Oxford United supporters. "
