Erm I've never started one. In fact Im not even sure a game is happening.
Whats happening? Is there a game? Is Tony Philliskurk playing? Are we playing seven wingers? Is Purkiss involved? If so are the rest of the reserves playing?

This is my sort of thread - full of uncertainty and unanswered questions. Glad to be involved!
PS I don't have any answers.

It's 1-0 to us, Deering scored the goal. Oxford team Eastwood, Parish, Kinniburgh, Baker, Franks, Owen, Philliskirk, Trialist, Woodley, Deering, Cole. Subs: Clist, West, Silver source twitter.com/OUFClive

First of all its Danny Philliskirk not "Tony" and yes the lad is playing, however Ben Purkiss is not. We have another trialist playing in midfield, wander if its the same one as in the Oxford City game?! hmmm.

It sounds like Philliskirk is getting well involved. He set up Sam's goal and nearly made it 2-0.

Chris Williams seems impressed on the OUFC twitter.
Philliskirk goes close again after a lovely Cruyff turn on the bounce from Deering's header. Already this lad looks tidy

Sounds like Deering's having a pretty good game too! I'd love to know where Philliskirk is playing though...

Same here! at a guess, from reading the team, I have a feeling he will be playing just behind Aaron Woodley, linking the midfield with attack, sort of like a second striker maybe, or alternatively upfront with woodley, with deering in the hole.

Almost a goal a piece as Taylor's header misses both the corner of the net and a team mate by inches

Clarke, Batt, Wright, Worley/Creighton, Tonkin, Hall, Heslop, Bullman, Green, Midson, Constable With Potter as a maybe and Deering, Cole, Woodley, Worley /Creighton, Eastwood, Kinniburgh on the bench? We get more subs on the bench now dont we?

Half time 1-0.
It is good news that Clist has made the bench. He must be on the mend. It's a bit worrying that Wright hasn't played since the first half of the Leicester game.

Clist on at HT. Good to see him getting minutes on the pitch before the season starts.

Cole scores from the spot after Deering felled. Sensing a chance to be United's permanent penalty taker maybe...
