Wycombe is going to be a struggle if you do not have a season ticket. Fingers crossed season ticket holders get a heads up at the same time. Ie via text to say they are on sale. For Burton I had my ticket before it was posted on the website.

I still don't see why Season Ticket holders get first dibs on tickets, i'm sure there's some EU law on this

I still don't see why Season Ticket holders get first dibs on tickets, i'm sure there's some EU law on this From a strictly law perspective, im sure it has something to do with genuine fans getting tickets rather than "hooligans". However you'd say its because its the season ticket holders give a guaranteed £200+ a season and therefore deserve it.

I know I cannot shout about spelling or using the correct words as I am terrible at it however:- I think hooligans are used to butting but buying is completely different. Ha Ha ;D ;D

The club told me 200 at 1:32 now it's 250. Clearly the person I talked to did not have a clue. Unless we had 50 returns and no new sale all afternoon. Doh. 250 should sell out hopefully.

I bet the ticket office staff get fed up with people asking how many tickets how left. What would you prefer the office staff do? Count the tickets left every five minutes, waste time answering these questions .... or ..... move on promptly and quickly and answer the phone call to the next fan who's been waiting for ten minutes?

If you start with number 200 and you are then on 350 when asked you know you have sold 150. How does that take 10 minutes. Or they could say, sorry don't know. Now there's thought.

Do you always ask taxi drivers if they've had a busy night as well?

Do you always ask taxi drivers if they've had a busy night as well? If its taken 10 minutes to get through on the phone, perhaps its because the previous 100 callers have spent 10 seconds each on pleasant chit chat. 100 callers * 10 seconds = 1,000 seconds which is 16 minutes. When ordering for a normal home game I'll have a good natter with the ticket office staff, but when there is a queue I order my tickets and get off the phone as quick as possible.

"Busy night?" is to a taxi driver what "how many tickets have we sold?" is to someone working in the ticket office. The difference I suppose is I'm really interested in hearing how many tickets we've sold.
