HAHAHAHA I would be more gracious if you weren't acting like big time charlies before the game. Predictions of 3-4 even 5 -0 from your lot. Huge reality check needed from your lot. We won every personal battle, played you off the park at times. Your manager lost his rag, Batt looked a nervous wreck and your goalie flapped at nearly everything. It seems that all this hot air eminating from your fans is exactly that...talk. Thanks for the 3 points and filling our coffers with the tickets. Oh yes and Harrad and Davis didn't even play. If we meet you again we'll have the indian sign over you no doubt about it You're boring. |

Nice mascot.... Needs to work on his drumming.... Chris has it spot on, cw seemed to panic when we 2-1 down.. LSD just added to the panic...
Green should have IMO come on they looked leggy at the back.. His pace would have made a difference....

And as for your defending of headers. Oh dear oh dear.
Your a good club with some great supporters but today was a good reality check.

hello lads, cobblers fan here.
just want to commend you for today's top away following, in noise AND numbers, a rarity at Sixfields now that we're in league two. for the majority of the first half you looked like a truly top side as well, we got back into it when we went two up front but i expect you lot to be up there in the playoffs by the end of the season.
all the best for the rest of the season.

We may have fallen away a bit in the latter stages of the match but I don't know how you can say you played us off the park! We dominated for large spells, particularly in the first half and I can't believe we went in 1-0 down at half time, you created nothing and if we could only defend corners there would have been no problems. Same story in the second half, we deservedly levelled, but seemed to lose concentration and after a second freak goal from a rare Northampton attack we struggled to play to the same standard as we had done earlier in the match. Northampton did very little in truth. I predict you'll finish 17th this season. |

On another day that could have been 4.2 to the u`s,we deserved a draw atleast,but the games come thick and fast now,some we will lose we expect to win,today i was confident of a win,tue and thur will be a good acid test for the side,sort the home form out we go up !!..

1-1. Can't see them scoring more than one, Cripple in McKenzie and average overpaid Harrad up front. We'll def score. And i think i'd take a point and beat Shrewsbury on Tues. It is Northampton's cup final afterall, with there massive crowd and biggest of season. Just hope our players don't buckle in front of thousands!!!!! No..it was your Cup Final..the way Oxford have been banging on about it...oooh we're taking 1600..though quiet as fck in 2nd half...Funny how the shite excuses came out for only taking 800 to Aldershot (all ticket..)...same today..no?  |

Bit much to say you lot dominated. Your final third play was really lacking but i thought we were pretty even throughout. I thought you'd absolutely smash us but i was pleased that we actually stood up and tried after we were pegged back (from a criminally offside goal  ) as opposed to settling for a draw |

Its probably a good definition of how low we fell that we are actually having an argument with a Northampton Town fan, can remember playing them in a cup game years back when it was their biggest game in years. Still in years to come when the normal order is resumed it will be something to look back on and have a chuckle about.
