Someone on my course lives about 10 minutes from the ground and she told me The Squirrel(s?) is a good shout. Cobblers fans? To be fair, you can get buses up to Sixfields (or within 10 mins walk) from town..where there's loads of pubs..probably as easy as a 10-15 min walk from Squirrels or Melbourne Arms in Duston. Only prob is of course, if you're driving..though parking off Weedon Rd between Sixfields and town is an option! Pubs all along Weedon Rd..not great imo..but not usually any probs..Rover aside!

Could anyone let me know whether it's a good idea to park on the opposite side of the A45 as you approach the ground? I was thinking of the streets off Telford Rd as I thought it might be easier to get away after, that's assuming there's a way of crossing the A45 on foot of course!

Yeah Towcester has some old fashioned pubs not sure about Brackley. Main point being avoid Sixfields if you like decent beer. The Sixfields Tavern is a hungry horse pub and you can get in with no colours

Any good pubs in towcester? Pickwick on main street from Dickens fame. Don't make jokes about landlord who hung himself in there last year!

Who wants to drink in a bowling alley? Yeah too noisy and full of kids try Frankie & Benny's - better than TGI and ask for Lisa will give you parking pass to save you £3, saves some exit hassle, no £40 fines and 60 seconds from away end.

Next time we'll have away bar for you with real ale - it's promised!!

No proper food and no pubs, you're not exactly selling the place to us are you? All we can do is tell it as it is!! BUT we are promised a new home bar and new away bar was due before Xmas with real ale for you!! Loads of food outlets surround us. Frankie & Bennys best for footie friendly ask for lisa and maybe a car pass. Buy a 50/50 when arrive and walk and get £2 off big mac meal is a great deal. Make note of number in case you win though!

McDonalds at top of hill ....Frankie&Bennys across the road from the main stand Much friendlier in there. 50/50 draw. seller corner of the club shop (where the coaches drop off), ..waiting to sell as you get off the ...inside the away end from around 2.45pm every £1 losing ticket becomes £2 off a Big Mac Meal ...£1.99 instead of £3.99 and can be used before game aswell!! Good news - catering firm now left! But tip - buy your 50/50ticket £1 and get £2 off Big Mac - make note of number in case u win! Smaller prize than yours but more chance to win as less buyers! Expect to exceed £300.

No probs at all...other side has smart housing estate (possible?)..and car park (free) next to it. Just follow A43 in and turn left instead of right at Sixfields. Our other Oxford based Cobblers fans park there!
