From viewing the video clip I get the impression he does not take prisoners , touch of class too.........could be superb signing! Looking forward to watching this lad play. That's only the good bits though! He does get up well for a big lad and looks like he can pass out of defence well rather than hoof. Has only been a fringe player in the conference for the last 4/5 years, no league experience as far as I can tell. I'll reserve judgment until I've seen him play at least a few times. I'll echo your comments. In that little compilation he appears to have got the lot. Passes with both feet, strong in the air, good distribution, Cruyff turns on the edge of his own box, danger at set pieces. Hope there's not another youtube clip where the last ditch challenges and Cruyff turns got him into trouble!

24 games for York last season and more goals scored than bookings (3v2) not a bad stat for a defender.
Welcome Djoumin hope you do well for us.

I wonder how pacey he is? The reason I ask is despite the fact I really liked Crieghts the sad fact was he wasn't quick enough for this league.

This reply from my York city supporting mate "Yeah I rated him, whenever I saw him he was often the best on the park, timing great (headers and tackling), apart from being French he is brill"
Sounds promising indeed.

Big lad. Good reputation at the back. Thankfully didn't do much upfront for York in the playoff final.
Does question signing Gaughan. Could have relied solely on him with someone from the youth team or Midson slotting in alongside for reserve fixtures. That would leave the budget better balanced to sign Maclean. Always possible to bring in an ‘emergency loan’. Bringing another body in now is the safety first approach.
The intrigue is what pecking order emerges; Wright and Worley first choice, Sangare third and Gaughan fourth, and if either do enough to earn a longer contract.
Whoever is fourth choice, they are unlikely to get many opportunities if everything goes well.

Not signed many French players down the years so hopefully a good one. Our defence needed a bit of sorting

I just remember his name from the sky commentary of Potters goal at wembley . "Sangare looking to rise, out to potter and they could finish it off here, it's two against one...!"

Based on that youtube Sangare looks s*** hot, let's hope it doesn't turn to just the first word in that expression!! Seriously though his tackling looks awesome, quick into the tackle, strong and well-timed (though there may be a few that haven't been). He could be what we've been missing, strange York are letting him go though. Also seems to be able to control the ball and pass it which is handy, generally could be a good all rounder but let's wait and see.
Anyway welcome my old son, good luck and do us proud.

He was out of contract and refused a new one as he was moving to Morocco. That deal subsequently fell through so he has been on trial at Lincoln who wanted to sign him. We beat them to it!
