I am not into that Football hooligan rubbish, but if you search on YOUTUBE, there a recording of Swansea fans giving the Reading lot the run around at Elm Park!
Seems like everyone finds Reading an easy touch!

If some muggy "lads" make an effort to get at shirters and then take a slap allegedly, it wouldn't matter what club they came from they got what they deserved. Don't try and reincarnate a rivalry that was put to bed years ago.Oh yeah what with you lot being so shit now, I forget what it's like to have any sort of local rival sharing a division with us it's been that long. How was the four years in non league by the way? ;D D'ya know what really tickles my t*sticles? These silly fans of other teams who assume, that because Oxford United were let down by our PREVIOUS owners/board and let us decline into a sh*tty league, we must be a bunch of Readings or Swinedons (sorry, I mean DICK fans) Our supporters are a bluddy good bunch of people, who deserved better service from our PREVIOUS leaders. If any other fans want to rubbish OUFC over the last four years, then perhaps they have a point. When it came to previous meetings, fan-wise, er...................no contest!

Back in the good ol' days, when we were really good and Reading really crap, loads of Oxford fans used to get the train from Reading to Oxford for home games. I remember that as I had the misfortune to live in Bracknell in the seventies (all right just before we were really good then!)
But when Reading were really good and we we really crap, I doubt whether many Oxford fans switched allegiance to Reading. I suppose that's the difference between loyal supporters and the bandwagon variety.
