If Potter, Deering and Cole were involved tonight, I suppose it means they're not involved tomorrow?

Athletic Bilbao. The midfielder. Surely worth another look. Can't be that bad if he played in LaLiga?!

just got back, quite enjoyed the game if im honest, cheap entry ;D cheap food and cheap beer ;D, i think that the number 4 midfielder deserves another chance but the other 3 might as well go back.

This was one of those matches that after 30 mins you just knew no matter how long they played for OUFC were never going to score. There were too many players who hadn't played with each other before and Brackley were the better team and overall deserved their win.
Their goal came from a defensive error where our left back (at least I assume he was the left back) went for a tackle and missed both player and ball and ended up on his back, their player was able to gain a few yards and cross the ball into the box and and it was knocked about and put into our net. I don't think Eastwood was really at fault.
At the other end their goalie made a couple of really good saves to deny us.
All in all the difference between a team who have been training together for a couple of weeks now and one cobbled together on the night showed however tonight was about match fitness and the result doesn't really matter Brackley have a good team coming together and I expect them to be challenging for promotion at the end of the coming season.
A friendly club, a nice playing surface and only 30 mins drive away. I am glad we went.
