I must admit I thought he'd died a while ago. 61's a pretty outstanding innings with what he put himself through!

Rip Alex, on a slightly different topic is it just me or are we losing all our sportsmen with "character" about them now - they are all so media trained its like watching robots atleast with the likes of Higgins, Best etc you never knew what u were gonna get, a sad loss.
