Anyone see it the other night? Couldn't believe Brock Lesnar lost, cost me £35. I'm sure he'll win the belt back though, the bloke is an absolute freak of nature!!

He got battered, always thought he would be vunerable against a powerful striker with decent speed. Still wouldnt fancy spilling his pint!

I had thought that because he beat Shane Carwin, no-one would beat him for a long time, I now think think about Velasquez. He will destroy Dos Santos. In the LHW division, I would love to see Randy Couture get a title shot.

Couture will get a shot because he is a big name, guarentees good p-p-v sales, must be getting on a bit now though seems to have been around for ever, have said he is to old before though and been proved wrong.
Do you think Lesnar's illness effected him? Seemed a little slower this time out. Dont think i could gamble on MMA, its to unpredictable.

Couture is a legend, he's 47 i think and on a 3 fight win streak. I can't see him winning the belt again but you can't ever count him out. It's hard to say about Lesnar's illness, his 2 fights since haven't exactly been on for long. I agree that he didn't look right the other night, he looked knackered after about 2 mins which is a bit unusual, but he did come out all guns blazing. I don't do much gambling on MMA, had an acca of mcgee, shields and lesnar which I thought was easy money..... Obviously not!
I went to the o2 last weekend and Michael Bisping looked great, not sure if he will be the MW champ but definately get a title shot soon, maybe a match against Demian Maia or Nate Marquart and if he wins that then should get a shot.

Agree with you on Bisping, but he will probably have to wait until a show is on in England again for a title shot any way, would be a good main event though.

Yeah the fans would eat up a title shot in England, time after time the UK cards have nothing to really look forward to on them. They need a top fight here, someone like Rampage. I know couture fought here recently and I was gutted not to be able to get tix but hasn't really been anyone else that I can think of, well for as long as i've been into MMA anyway!

The cards are never great over here, local boys and no big names, its the time zone problem for US tv. Bisping title shot is probably the best we can hope for, although Rampage Jackson did fight over here a few years back, but the quality of the fighters coming over here has been declining recently, they do seem to see the uk as a cash cow to milk.
