Are the GE and Ultimate Yellows still going to be about next season?
It would be good to show the Football League some of the quality displays that were put on over the past few seasons.

Not going by GE any more, Oxford Ultras will be our name from now on, and we will be present at every game as ever. The UY from what they've told me have pretty much packed it in. Hopefully we can grow as a group and really push on this season with some top displays

UY have retired. We like to think we did some positive stuff by setting the groud work to allow flags in the ground, gettting poles accepted, changning peoples mindsets, and spreading the idea of flags. However we always admitted we were short on numbers and also struggled to get to every game as a group as too many of us were from London.
We also recognised what a terrific job the Oxford Ultras (formerly GE) have done and didn't think there was room for two groups. As such we are fully supportive of the Ultras and will often assist in flag waving up at the back etc.
So from now on, give your money, moral, and physical support to the Ultras. The one thing they need more than anything is more numbers and cash.

What are/were the GE and UL? The annoying kids at the back slamming chairs and trying to sing la la songs like Italians? bit harsh. Many fantastic displays have been carried out by the Oxford ultras including 2 massive card displays- carrying these out for 2000 people is not easy and many flags/banner displays. Maybe the Italian songs are not everyone's preference but you have to hand it to them for attempting to boost the atmosphere at home games as well as travelling to every away game last season.

The UY have disbanded. See above.
As for the Ultras they do a terrific job to improve the atmosphere and deserve lots of credit. If you didnt notice the card displays for the Northwich and R&D games Im very surprised. They also did one for the Boxing Day game against R&D but sadly it was called off.
So what if they sing a tune peopl dont know. Its not italian, its got english words, its just a new tune, and they only tend to sing it when the atmosphere has died down so fair play. All new songs have to start somewhere. notably the tune they sing is popular at some other english grounds.
