Are you actually from Berlin mate? I was over there on business last week. Spent a lot of time in Germany, but this was my first visit to Berlin, somewhat surprisingly. Interesting place, but it's quite difficult to tell the old East from the West now and there isn't much of the wall left, is there? It was about 36C as well, which was a surprise! Yes mate, been out here for eight years now...Berlin is great but it takes a bit of getting used to. The East and West thing is still more prevalent than you might think, but the visible difference is shrinking by the day as more and more money is pumped into the old east areas. Good football as well for my live fix (Union). PS. Had only the second day of rain today in the entire month...was TOO hot last week.

I was in a City Centre hotel, on Friedrichstrasse, and it was a good central place to get around from but even the German guys with us kept getting confused whether we were in the East or West when we were travelling around.
I think Hamburg runs it a very very close second though.
