Why are you moving OUFC relevant threads about? If you going to move stuff not concerning matches, get that night shift thread moved then, where you can all play without bothering the rest of us. Remember how quickly the TIU went down the drain, don't fall into the same trap that you are untouchable. This site is OK if not a little boring, it hasn't got the edge the TIU had but hopefully that will come in time, don't mess this up by being too over officious. Nothing wrong with moving threads which should obviously be in other sections. Personally, I'm not that interested in the night-shift thread and don't read it.. so how does it bother you? Can't you just not read it. I seem to recall you and Roley had quite a few threads in the matches section on TiU that were far more suited to being facebook chats. The night shift thread has nothing to do with the matches section, and "obviously should be in other sections" I agree. The moderation seems overzealous at the moment, this site is not exactly a hive of activity and how many threads on West Ham do we need in one section, this is supposed to be a discussion board and talking about our manager in the most popular section might have raised some peoples thoughts. the matches section at the moment is all about how many tickets have we sold, what was the crowd, when are the tickets going on sale, I can't get through on the phone, etc all rather mundane and uninspiring, this forum has no spark about it and now the moderators are getting too involved it's hardly worth the effort to log in some days. The Outlaws site is a far more entertaining read, even if the format is pants.

I agree that the admins are too keen to get involved.
Sit back and be passive guys, the role of an admin is much like that of a ref, just sit by and watch and hopefully you'll have nothing to do but now and then you may have to blow your whistle (porn avatars, racsim etc).
your doing well if no-one knows your there but the forum is running effectively.
Too many admins (& refs) want it to be all about them and it detracts from the job they are primarily meant to be doing.

Don't worry i've been sacked for 'getting too involved with forum conversations'. So no mods are allowed to post anymore it seems :-\

Maybe YH, however most of the time my opinions went hand in hand with my mod duties.
