Would we really sell 300 or so extra tickets before the game, though?

Why wud they want to give us more tickets? They dont want their players running out the tunnel at a home game to see 3 sides of away fans!!!

I've heard that Northampton are very strict about visiting supporters in home areas... I think you'll find most clubs are

Imagine what it would be like to run out at your home ground and see only three stands, and the one facing you has about 2,000 seats on the halfway line blocked off with netting and never used!

It's crazy that prime seats in the stadium cannot be used, we have a much larger segregation that Sunderland v Newcastle, Celtic v Rangers, Spurs v Chelsea put together!

After all the comments about mick Brown and the Orient allocation,i think this is a bit hypocritical.

Northampton should be maximising their income by selling as many seats as possible and if that means to OXford they should sort out some sort of segregation, although there isn't going to be any trouble is there!

Maybe it is but we locked Oxford fans out of the Orient match which was one of the biggest games in our history where as Northampton will have lots of empty seats that they will not sell. We also gave Orient a bigger allocation than their average home gate.

I am not not condoning it but if "neutrals" want to buy a ticket in the Northampton ends I suggest the East Stand because they can sit either with the Northampton fans or Oxford (in that end) depending on who they want to win

I noticed there was only a double line of stewards between 6000 Leicester away fans and vocal and vociferous Man city fans last night- good job it was in manchester as some of the gestures being exchanged are worth a 3 year banning order in the Thames Valley area!!! ( saw vast empty expanses elsewhere at citys ground last night too, not that THEY need the money of course)

Depends what category the game has been given I think. Don't think they would give too many seats to Oxford in the East Stand because of the potential for trouble (N.A.T and SMHS)
Also we have broken even this season so no reason to give you bascially home advantage with a huge following

So you think the landlord is gonna say 30 NAT were arranging an off at his pub...or even knew?..grow up fella! I don't need to waste time convincing you..whaddya want...firkin names??? Thanks for wasting your time replying though. Don't worry, we all know Northampton chased Leeds all the way back up the M1. Like I said, tiresome. Perhaps you could recommend a pub where us poor Oxford fans will be safe from the local ruffians? Think I've done that a few times to be fair! As said..Malt Shovel..7 mins walk from station..Wig & Pen next to Town Hall..both great real ale pubs..Thomas a Becket on Weedon Rd should be ok!
